The silky, confident sound of the Moonriver 404 Reference is definitely for connoisseurs. The 404 Reference didn’t overwhelm the fine, internal dynamic levels and basically took the listener by the hand for every slight increase or decrease. That was fine, fresh sound that opened up beautifully and transparently.”
